Stroud OK to Edmond OK (suburb of Oklahoma City): 49.6 miles
Stroud OK is, apparently, a capital city for all many used and derelict oil rig building equipment rigs, mile after mile of them.
Chandler OK
The best, or second best*, donut shop on Route 66. This one on 66 at the western edge of Chandler OK. You cannot not try the cinnamon rolls; they are outstanding. *A close contender for #1 is the donut shop in Nevada MO. (If Yelp is looking for a coast-to-coast reviewer for donut shops, I could know someone who could help).
An outstanding place to spend some time is the private motorcycle collection at an old DX gas station: Seaba Station west of Chandler OK.
Inside the station is all manner of miniature collectable vehicles.
But the real treasure is the many motorcycles all privately acquired, and refurbished.
DX is an old old brand, long gone.
And many of these bikes are long gone as well.
One of the fellow Route 66 riders we met along the way. He was only in 60s (a mere youth).

Arcadia OK, famous for its round red barn (barely visible on right side of the road in the distance; more below):

Many places along Route 66 have been enhanced with various features of interest. This one has to be an award winner.
Going into Edmond we encountered the only bike-hater so far. (If you were the guy driving the red Mercedes registered in TX: “same to you buddy”).
